Day 18: Smarts

Dogs are smarter than humans. They don’t pay rent, we feed them and care for them, they sleep over 12 hours a day, and all they have to do is humor us by sitting on command.

Charlie the Beagle loves his baby sister Laura very much. When Charlie got a bag of bright colorful balls he wanted to surprise his sister by dropping them one by one into her crib. Watch the sweet delight on baby Laura’s face as she is surrounded by all her gifts!

"What dog through yonder window barks?"

Empress Chai and Dangerous Beans are having an Elizabethan regal makeover. I’ll add more pics as I go along. The bottom pic here is where I’ve got to so far and I’ll probably be keeping at it for a few more hours. No idea what direction I’m going in yet. I might stop at ruffs, maybe ceremonial robes.. I shall see where the mood takes me :D

Dog Country Singer to Tour U.S.

by Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent

To outsiders, Grace the dog seems little more than a gimmick - but to true fans of country music, she’s the real deal.

"You talk about the all-time greats — Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard — Grace is right up there," says Billy Norman, editor-in-chief of Country Time magazine. “Sure, her songs don’t make much sense, but she’s a dog. No one expected they would.”

The pup has proven so popular that she’s now set to embark on a nationwide tour. Most dates have already sold out.

"She’s going to start out in Boston and finish up in Nashville," says Norman. "That’s also where the largest Petco happens to be. I’m going to say they planned that one ahead of time."
